It’s time to introduce some of the people behind Vimab BESS! First up is Johnny—our in-house battery systems expert. Get to know him better here:
How did you end up at Vimab BESS?
"I’ve always worked with batteries or battery-related products and services, and the role at Vimab BESS felt like an exciting opportunity. Energy storage and the energy sector are developing rapidly, which really appealed to me. Vimab BESS was also specifically looking for someone with experience in batteries, and with my background from battery manufacturing companies, the role seemed like a perfect fit."
What drives you in your work, and what gives you the most energy in your role?
"Constantly learning new things and understanding the connection between technology and business. It’s motivating to use that knowledge to take a product or service to the next level."
What do you enjoy doing on a day off?
"I like spending time with my family, working out, or playing the guitar. If it’s a sunny summer day, I love taking the boat out to our favorite cliffs in the Norrtälje archipelago."
How do you think your colleagues would describe you in three words?
"That’s probably better answered by others, but over the years I’ve been told I’m trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful."
What are you most looking forward to in the coming year at Vimab BESS?
"I’m excited to be part of the journey as Vimab BESS establishes itself as a major player in energy storage and the broader energy market in Sweden and across Europe."
