Vimab BESS has signed a letter of intent for its largest deal to date. A fully financed solar power project in an African country has selected the company to supply 106 battery containers. The deal, valued at SEK 866 million (USD 85.45 million), confirms Vimab BESS’s position as a leading player in the energy storage sector. It is the second major contract the company has secured in a short period, reflecting strong demand for advanced battery solutions.
The battery containers will be produced at our facility in Staffanstorp, with deliveries beginning in 2025 and continuing through 2026. In addition to the initial delivery, the agreement includes ongoing service and operation—creating long-term revenue streams for the Vimab Group.

Vimab BESS is now engaged in two large-scale energy storage projects. In October 2024, a similar letter of intent was secured worth SEK 825 million from a government-owned enterprise in a continental European country. Negotiations for several additional projects outside Sweden are currently underway.
