Sustainability in the Supply Chain
We acknowledge our responsibility as a company to respect human rights and environmental standards. This commitment applies not only to our own business operations but also to our global supply chains. We help ensure that these fundamental rights are upheld by requiring our suppliers to sign and adhere to our Code of Conduct. We evaluate our economic, social, and environmental sustainability efforts on an annual basis.

Our sustainability impact is focused on the following areas:

Energy Efficiency:
The foundation of our operations. The function of a battery energy storage system is to optimize a company’s energy use and, in the long run, contribute to reduced energy consumption.

International Standards:
We recognize the importance of shaping our operations in line with international standards—not only to establish legitimacy but also to help us proactively manage risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Our work aligns with international standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.

Ethical Business Practices:
We have implemented a clear Code of Conduct and anti-corruption policy to ensure that our operations are carried out fairly and transparently.

Lifecycle Management:
We aim to minimize our environmental impact across our entire operation by embracing a lifecycle perspective, which is a key component of the EU Battery Regulation. This includes placing requirements on the origin of materials from our suppliers, maintaining open dialogue about upcoming recycling regulations, and establishing partnerships for the collection, recycling, and reuse of our energy storage systems.
Sustainability Reporting
We believe in transparency and are committed to sharing our progress through our sustainability report. The report, available to our customers and partners, provides an overview of our initiatives and goals in the area of sustainability. We are preparing for the implementation of the CSRD and, starting in 2027, will report annually in accordance with the ESRS data points.
